The iPhone 14 Pro is significantly faster than the Samsung S23 Ultra, which was announced last week and will be available to the public on February 17th. Performance measurements have been made by experts and have compared the S23 Ultra to the iPhone 14 Pro from last year, and the results have shown that the iPhone 14 Pro is faster and has a faster processor in the world with a significant difference.
According to Geekbench performance measurements for single-core performance, the S23 Ultra scored 1480 points, while the closest competitor, the iPhone 14 Pro, scored 1874 points, which is 21.02% faster than the S23 Ultra in just one test.
When it comes to multi-core performance, the difference in core number was slightly smaller, but the performance still remained high. The S23 Ultra recorded 4584 points, compared to 5384 for the iPhone 14 Pro, which is 14.86% faster than the S23 Ultra.
Samsung is trying hard to keep up with Apple's processor technology, but the gap has been widening in recent years. For example, there was a noticeable improvement in the performance of the iPhone 13 last year compared to the performance of the S22 in single-core and multi-core processing tests. Regardless of whether the S22 was powered by the Snapdragon 8 first-generation processor used in the units sold in the United States or the Samsung Exynos 2200 processor used in the units sold in Europe.
Despite this large gap between Samsung and the iPhone 14 Pro this year, performance improvements in Samsung devices are due to advancements in their processor technology and the use of a newer processor, the Snapdragon 8.
